About Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon

'She was a 17 year old girl, the only God she believed in was Taylor Swift”

After her sister’s untimely death by a Yorkshire Pudding, a funny teenage misfit begrudgingly joins a flailing scout group to help her navigate the kicks and punches of adolescence with varying degrees of success.

Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon is a rollercoaster ride through youth. Whether you are a young person, know a young person, or simply were a young person once – it’s time to rip up the rule book and reconnect with your younger self.

Profound, Riveting, Resonant, Dark, Absorbing

See it if You want to see something, I'd say really different. It's play format, with a single actor telling a story. Boring? NO! Captivating!

Don’t see it if You may be uncomfortable with pronounced death, and separately, sexual abuse references.

Ambitious, Absorbing, Clever, Delightful, Entertaining

See it if you like Netflix teenage movies. also, the acting is excellent, and the fact that it’s a solo performance doesn’t make the play boring

Don’t see it if you don’t want to see a rather painful story about loneliness, death and mental disorders

A little slow, Heartbreaking, Funny, Relevant, Ambitious

See it if you enjoy a well-performed one-person show.

Don’t see it if you need the most riveting show. It has moments of real impact and an earnestness throughout, but doesn’t quite connect as much as it wants.

This show contains mentions of Sexual Assault, Eating Disorders, Discussion of Death and swearing
